A era da Tyco Inc. na Matchbox foi de 1992 após a falência do Universal Group até 1996 quando a marca foi vendida para a Mattel Inc. também norte-americana. Apesar de ter sido oficializada a sua venda em 1996, muitos modelos de 1997 foram fabricados pela Tyco Inc. e repassados à Mattel. Atualmente a minha coleção é composta por 28 modelos da série Mainline que nos tempos da Tyco Inc. , era chamada de Get in the Fast Lane.
